GXM is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team to support advanced defense and space-related mission programs focused on Command and Control (C2), mission systems integration, cloud modernization, and enterprise capability delivery. The selected candidate will support development, deployment, and sustainment of secure software delivery pipelines and automated deployment environments supporting mission-critical capabilities. The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with software developers, cybersecurity personnel, systems engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders to enable rapid, reliable, and secure delivery of software and data-driven capabilities across operational environments. This role requires expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure automation, cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, and modern software delivery practices. This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

Hybrid flexibility may be available over time based on mission requirements, program execution needs, and achievement of objectives. 

Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipeline architectures supporting software delivery, testing, integration, and deployment activities. 
  • Implement secure software delivery practices that integrate security, compliance, and automation throughout the development lifecycle. 
  • Develop and maintain release automation processes to improve deployment consistency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate capability delivery. 
  • Support deployment and management of development, test, staging, and production environments across cloud and mission systems infrastructures. 
  • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines supporting AI/ML models, data processing workflows, and mission analytics capabilities. 
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation solutions supporting scalable and repeatable environment provisioning. 
  • Support containerized application deployment and orchestration using modern cloud-native technologies and platforms. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to resolve deployment challenges and improve delivery performance. 
  • Monitor pipeline performance, deployment health, and operational metrics to support reliable mission capability delivery. 
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and automation artifacts supporting program execution and sustainment. 

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline. 
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, platform engineering, or software deployment environments. 
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. 
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation technologies. 
  • Experience supporting cloud-native environments, containerization technologies, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker. 
  • Experience developing automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages. 
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and modern software development methodologies. 
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. 

Desired Qualifications


  • Experience supporting defense, space, intelligence, or multi-domain operational environments. 
  • Experience deploying AI/ML models, data pipelines, or machine learning platforms into operational environments. 
  • Familiarity with Platform One, Kubernetes-based delivery platforms, or cloud-native mission environments. 
  • Security+, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Azure, or equivalent technical certification preferred.

$165,000
