Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Correspondent Production Manager to ensure seamless communication between sales, operations, and underwriting teams while addressing loan-level challenges and maintaining efficiency. This role involves managing the loan pipeline, resolving client and partner issues, and offering expertise on loan and compliance matters. The Correspondent Production Manager will drive operational improvements, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

What You’ll Do
As the Correspondent Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating between various departments—including sales, operations, and underwriting—to ensure that all processes are aligned and goals are met.
- Act as a key liaison between sales, clients, operations, and underwriting to support clear communication and smooth workflow
- Analyze and address loan-level challenges to minimize underwriting disruptions, recommending or negotiating alternative requirements, restructuring, or exception solutions as needed
- Engage directly with clients and partners to resolve loan-level issues and support a seamless processing experience
- Provide expert guidance and support on loan-level and compliance matters for the Transaction Management, Pre-Close and Due Diligence teams
- Proactively mitigate risk by maintaining an expert understanding of underwriting guidelines and matrices, partnering with underwriting to drive solution-oriented decisions
- Manage the daily loan pipeline to ensure timely processing and resolve delays ahead of closing deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and brokers to support efficient, high-quality loan closings
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Identify and lead training opportunities across the Pre-Close and Due Diligence teams
- Mentor and develop team members to support their growth and help them achieve individual and team goals
What We Need
- Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience in the Finance and Mortgage Industry
- Proven experience in loan operations, underwriting, or related fields
- Strong leadership skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of TRID, federal, and state regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience with Sales a plus
- Strives for accuracy and pays close attention to detail
- Enjoys building strong relationships with customers and team-members

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
