Requirements
Required Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in a dedicated Data Engineering role, with significant experience managing the full data lifecycle.Expert-level proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale relational and non-relational databases.Deep hands-on experience with a major cloud data warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics).Solid experience developing and maintaining production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, or AWS GlueExperience using Python for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, PySpark).Solid understanding and use of reporting tools like Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, Looker, BusinessObjects, or Oracle BIFamiliarity with data governance concepts (e.g., metadata management, data lineage) and implementing security best practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience with real-time/streaming data processing technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming).Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.A background in data science tooling or supporting machine learning pipelines.Experience in DevOps practices for data infrastructure (CI/CD, monitoring, logging).
