Job Description


Jet Parts Engineering, a Seattle-area aerospace company, seeks a Power BI Developer to join our growing BI team. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries, and integrate data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role offers 50-70% focus on core BI development with opportunities to support IT tasks and contribute to automation and process improvement projects. Perfect for someone with 1-3 years’ experience ready to make an immediate impact.

Onsite position eligible for 1 day/week remote work from home.Core Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for multi-company operations 
  • Write/optimize SQL queries (PL/SQL, T-SQL) for data extraction
  • Integrate data from multiple sources using SQL, Power Query, Fabric
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver BI reports, analysis, and actionable insights
  • Provide onsite IT tier-1 support under supervision of IT director
  • Contribute to business automation initiatives and process improvements
  • Support ERP system integrations and development (Quantum Control, AvSight/Salesforce)
  • Any other duties as assigned

Required Education and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma/GED required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI development
  • Solid SQL query writing and optimization skills (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to find creative solutions
  • US work authorization required

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in distribution and/or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry practices
  • Experience with ERP systems (Quantum Control, AvSight, or similar)
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Knowledge of PHP and website support
  • Understanding of API/MCP integrations
  • Interest in AI and machine learning applications in business

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Good manual and finger dexterity for computer work
  • Visual acuity for detailed data analysis and extended periods of concentration

Compensation & Benefits


Salary position commensurate with experience.  We offer flexible hours with great benefits like health, dental, and vision with paid vacation & personal/sick leave.  401k eligibility after 3 months with match.
