Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Post Closing Specialist to join the Operations team at Deephaven Mortgage. The Post Closing Specialist will participate in the loan delivery process providing a heightened focus on coverage and assistance to optimize processes and increase efficiencies while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of assets being delivered. As a Post Closing Specialist, you will need to work in our office located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.
What You'll Do
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the loan delivery process and automate manual processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate with title companies, investors, and 3rd party vendors.
- Receive, check- in, image and ship collateral and final documents to custodian.
- Obtain Recorded Mortgages and Final Title Policies
- Maintain accurate record of received documentation.
- Handle post-purchase loan activities, including on-boarding loan data to servicer.
- Process and ship high volume of documentation
- Track and follow up on outstanding documents.
- This role is NOT REMOTE and requires working from our office located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC.
What We Need
- Associate degree or 1-3 years of experience in mortgage related industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure with professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
