We are a global leader in the supply chain execution market, focused on accelerating the transformation of digital supply chain for industrial and finished goods shippers and carriers by combining best-in-class solutions for challenges tied to yard management, shipment visibility, and asset management, across rail, truck, and multi-mode transportation.The Associate Consultant – Intern is an entry-level, customer-facing consulting position within the Professional Services team.
You will learn to implement enterprise software solutions for maritime customers, gain hands-on experience in software configuration and integration, analyze business processes, and work under the supervision of senior consultants and project managers.
Job Description & Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant Intern, you will:
- Enterprise Software Implementation: Assist in deploying Kaleris’ software solutions for maritime and terminal operations customers.
- Issue Verification & Case Creation: Verify customer issues in test systems, create clear cases with the necessary steps and documentation (using Salesforce or equivalent systems) to support rapid issue resolution by developers.
- System Analysis & Configuration: Analyze, configure, and help integrate systems as directed to achieve required results for client-specific needs.
- Relationship Building: Develop effective working relationships with both customer contacts and Kaleris team members.
- Professional Communication: Listen actively and communicate effectively with customers, peers, and stakeholders, maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Ownership of Issues: Take responsibility for assigned customer issues, ensuring regular follow-up and status updates until completion, with support from Senior Consultants.
- Continuous Learning: Quickly ramp up on products and industry practices using documentation, mentoring, and hands-on assignments.
- Team Collaboration: Support team activities and contribute to project deliverables as directed, demonstrating a detail-oriented and self-motivated work style.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Currently in university (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science) and exposure to logistics, manufacturing, or related internships.
- Solid software technical abilities (requirements/configuration, integration, or software development fundamentals).
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and oral.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as directed, receive instruction, and adapt quickly to new assignments and low-complexity tasks.
- Ability to manage stress and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
Desirable/Optional:
- Exposure to consulting or customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with supply chain, maritime, or terminal operations.
- Multilingual skills relevant to the region.
