Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
The Sr BI Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of data-driven solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of BI developers, data analysts, and data engineers, while working closely with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality and impactful analytics solutions.In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, revise, and maintain existing reports, Datawarehouse and Power BI library.
- Gather and translate business requirements into report designs.
- Design and monitor construction of user-facing presentation tools, such as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, Power BI Dashboards, etc.
- Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Provide reporting to customers and management to support business decisions and become more proficient in the use of the application.
- Configure, manage, and design Kafka solutions via Confluent.
- Communicate with team members to assess progress of deliverables.
- Examine, evaluate, and develop reporting requirements for various business units; develop reports and reporting structures as required.
- Communicate reporting changes, enhancements, and modifications verbally or through written documentation to management and other team members.
- Work with other reporting team members to prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in reporting systems across the organization.
- Develop, design, and analyze data architecture and data warehouses.
- Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in BI/Analytics.
- 5+ years’ experience with Kafka/Confluent
- 5+ years’ experience with BI tools – SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google Big Query, Azure Synapse).
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytics programming languages, preferred.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), preferred.
- Knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics is preferred.
- Certifications in BI or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics), preferred.
