๐ Your Role at a Glance:
At Wayflyer we believe that brand is more than a logo. It is a living breathing experience that must earn trust, inspire, belief and deliver clarity across every touchpoint. We are seeking a high-agency Communications Designer/Brand Art Director with exceptional visual craft and a strategic mind to evolve and own our global brand identity. This role blends hands-on design conceptual thinking and creative leadership to drive consistent high quality storytelling across marketing campaigns, product launches and internal initiatives.You will collaborate closely with cross functional partners in marketing growth and product to bring the Wayflyer story to life across channels shaping everything from paid campaigns to pitch decks from thought leadership to onboarding flows.
We are looking for a visual thinker who moves fluidly between execution and direction, thrives in ambiguity and consistently raises the bar on craft cohesion and brand impact.
The key ways you'll bring value to the team
- Own and evolve the Wayflyer visual language across channels including paid media email, web, video, social, events and more ensuring cohesion relevance and brand distinction.
- Lead concepting and execution of integrated campaigns that deliver both brand lift and measurable performance adapting visuals for multiple personas markets and formats.
- Translate complex ideas into clear compelling storytelling balancing creative vision with strategic business goals.
- Drive end to end design processes from brief development and moodboarding to comps prototyping production and final QA.
- Mentor and guide external collaborators including agencies and freelancers and internal partners to ensure high design standards, brand alignment and consistent creative output.
- Push creative boundaries with conceptual ideas that feel fresh, culturally relevant and bold yet grounded in clarity and creative rigor.
- Champion a culture of feedback iteration and continuous improvement fostering a high standard of execution without losing speed.
- Translate complexity into simple, elegant solutions that scale across user types and business models.
- Work across systems and features to help scale quality and coherence through shared components and principles.
๐จ What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Six or more years of experience in brand art direction or communications design ideally within fast moving or tech driven industries.
- A portfolio that shows exceptional craft visual storytelling and a deep understanding of brand systems and campaign design.
- Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of creative projects from blank page to final execution operating with autonomy, urgency and creative conviction.
- Experience designing for both brand awareness and performance marketing including social, display, lifecycle, email, push and landing pages.
- Proficiency in Figma Adobe Creative Suite and motion or video fundamentals. Bonus iComfort adapting design to different audiences such as executives, investors and customers while keeping the brand DNA intact.
- Strong presentation and communication skills. You know how to sell ideas, justify decisions and get stakeholder alignment without compromising vision.
- A passion for designing within constraints. You love turning complexity into simplicity and driving coherence in fast paced environments.
- A point of view on what makes modern brands great and the curiosity to keep evolving with culture, technology and design trends.
Nice to have:
- Hands on skills in animation.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices.
- Background in fast moving Orgs environments.
