The UK audit team has an exciting opportunity for the role of Audit Manager. Suitable candidates would have finance experience within a media/creative/BTL agency. The individual will have responsibility for supporting and conducting audits across a wide range of UK & European countries and clients, supporting the Senior Audit Managers, Audit Directors and Client Directors and partially responsible for the development of the Auditors and Audit Executives. The Audit Manager will act as a trusted operator within the UK audit team.
- Supporting and conducting audit programs in UK and other European countries for local and international clients
- Review of framework agreements between client and agency for audit preparation
- Selecting audit samples based on internal audit guidelines
- Audit responsibilities for testing of client and agency invoices, agency fees, media plans and client approvals, payment analysis and further testing
- Documentation of audit analysis and audit findings
- Reporting line to Senior Audit Managers and Audit Directors
- Responsible for the development and daily duties of Auditors and Audit Executives
- Experience working in a Finance role within a marketing agency finance department (media, creative, or BTL)
- 3 A-levels or equivalent is essential
- Ideally the candidate has a graduate qualification or finance degree
- Ideally the candidate has an ACCA or other accountancy certification (part or fully qualified), if not willing to start
- Good English language skills, other languages beneficial
- Very accurate, structured and confidential way of working
- Be a self-starter, an inquisitive team player
- Interest in audit methodologies
- Good Microsoft Excel/Word skills
- Readiness to travel (appr. 20%)
