Position Overview
This role will be responsible for supporting our organization's efforts in utilizing data and analytics to drive insights, strategies, and decision-making related to our most valuable asset - our people. This role will be an integral part of people analytics team, building data & reporting pipelines and leading data analysis projects to inform our compensation, talent acquisition, workforce planning, retention, engagement, and DEI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean/wrangle, and aggregate data across HR systems to produce regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Ensure data quality through data audits and other mechanisms, following business requirements, to reconcile across data sources
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data definitions analytical methodology (e.g., sources, models, pipelines, etc.)
- Lead data analysis projects and effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders, including HR partners, cross-functional partners, and senior leaders.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify insights related to workforce planning, attrition/retention, DEI, engagement, and other key HR metrics
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in people analytics, and proactively share knowledge and insights with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field; Master's degree is an asset
- Proven track record with 4+ years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, data analytics/business intelligence, or related roles; 1+ years of experience with a Master’s or advanced degree
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; proficiency with programmatic data tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is a strong asset
- Deep experience with data wrangling and joining disparate data sources
- Ability to analyze structured/unstructured data and synthesize data into actionable insights which drives decision-making
- Experience managing end-to-end analytics projects
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday reporting, is a strong asset
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. People Research & Analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Physical Requirements
- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
