Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture and Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on both AWS and Azure platforms, aligning with business requirements and best practices.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Cloud Deployment and Automation: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
- Cloud Security: Implement and enforce security best practices across both AWS and Azure environments, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, data encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Cloud Monitoring and Logging: Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and ensure system health.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously analyze cloud spending and implement strategies to optimize costs without compromising performance or security.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for our cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Cloud Migration: Plan and execute the migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure to AWS and/or Azure.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex issues across our cloud environments, collaborating with development and operations teams.
- Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud resource utilization and implement strategies to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams, security engineers, and other stakeholders to provide cloud expertise and support application deployments.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
- Staying Current: Continuously learn and adopt new cloud technologies and best practices in both AWS and Azure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Experience with database services in the cloud (e.g., AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL Database/Cosmos DB).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and cloud networking services.
- Experience with cost management and optimization tools in AWS and Azure.
