We are a global leader in the supply chain execution market, focused on accelerating the transformation of digital supply chain for industrial and finished goods shippers and carriers by combining best-in-class solutions for challenges tied to yard management, shipment visibility, and asset management, across rail, truck, and multi-mode transportation. Kaleris is seeking a Sales Engineer responsible for supporting the EMEA sales team globally.  Regular travel will be required to meet your customer base.

This position will support the EMEA sales team and prepare presentations, demonstrations, and value propositions for various product lines including but not limited to: N4, Octopi, Master Terminal, and the YMS products.In particular this role will focus on growth of general cargo and intermodal and operational experience with these kinds of terminals is a plus.Responsibilities 

  • Support sales in helping Kaleris sell products and services, specific to general cargo.

  • Develop and maintain Master Terminal, Octopi, and N4 demos. 

  • Prepare customer presentations that demonstrate Kaleris products such that: 

  • The customers understand product features and capabilities 

  • Customers understand how the products will support and improve their way of working 

  • Demonstrate the ROI for the products 

  • Understand how the Master Terminal and Octopi products compare to competitors 

  • Lead the effort to response to customer RFPs 

  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel. 

  • Educate key customers on the Kaleris product architecture and advantages to instill confidence 

  • Conducting product demonstrations 

  • Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management 

  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. 

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services. 

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Requirements 

  • Track record of performance and delivery 

  • Good understanding of enterprise software sales 

  • Ability to prepare technical and detailed presentations and demonstrations 

  • At least 3 years of experience implementing software solutions for the maritime industry  

  • At least 3 years of experience translating customers’ requirements to technical solutions 

  • Strong understanding of Kaleris products and how customers use them 

  • Strong commercial/sales skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Nice to have: French or German professional language skills
