Job Description


Crown is seeking enthusiastic and qualified program management and administrative support coordinators/analysts to support NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) at NASA Headquarters located in Washington, D.C. A background in aeronautics and aviation is not required, but interest in working in this field would be helpful.You will work in a team-based, collaborative structure helping the ARMD's major research programs function smoothly by ensuring that programmatic information and documentation is accurate, timely, and available to leadership; supporting project management and coordination among multiple activities; and providing support for meetings and functions.

Program management support provided through this task assists ARMD in planning, management, execution, and assessment of its core mission.Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience. Position is most suitable for junior- and mid-level career professionals.

Qualifications


  • Must have the ability to obtain a NASA badge and laptop and handle NASA data; because the effort will require access to NASA IT systems, the support must be provided by US citizens
  • Must be able to work on-site at NASA HQ in Washington DC though some remote work is possible
  • Must possess demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Must possess at minimum a relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a highly desirable positive discriminator

Typical duties will include:


  • Develop, edit, and maintain configuration control of documents
  • Update ARMD SharePoint with appropriate information including the shared calendar
  • Support development of Program/Project review documents and presentations
  • Develop milestone reports based on monthly progress reports from projects
  • Support project reviews, program reviews, and other meetings by coordinating, scheduling, corresponding
  • Log and track action items to ensure that they are completed in a timely manner
  • Perform administrative functions as necessary
