TAYS, Inc seeks a Systems Analyst 3 in Baltimore, MD.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with managers and clients to assess business issues, gather, and define requirements, and write effective and detailed business and system design requirements.
- Effectively translate business needs into specifications to be used by development staff to create technical designs and programming specifications
- Assists with design and review of specifications.
- Identify and assist with implementation of business/IT solutions; assist with testing of applications.
- Develop business plans that focus on market analysis and technical marketing.
- Create a database to track analysis and information.
- Review and analyze customer information; transforms information into specifications to be used for business development.
- Review and analyze workforce issues to prevent potential problems; analyze and report on employee morale and work ethics.
- Define new data requirements and creates reports to support the requirements.
- Synthesize and analyze information from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and dangers.
- Partner with various teams to identify key information gaps and plan to provide that information.
- Collect data through interviews, surveys, web search, database search, or other methods.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 years of experience in Job offered or related occupation.
- Requires 1 year of experience in: 1. Conducting Business Analysis and Data Analysis utilizing SLDC, Confluence, and Jira. 2. Data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method 3. Performing Administrative and Development tasks as requested by customers on SharePoint site 4. Performing manual and automation testing and 508 section activities 5. Developing new Intranet sites using HTML/ CSS 6. Collecting data through interviews, surveys, web search, and database search. 7. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
