Role


The Fulfillment Manager is responsible for maintaining all end-to-end fulfillment processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget. This role leads and manages a group of Supervisors, Leads, and individual contributors to ensure that each shift is executed against the department goals and objectives. Additionally, the Fulfillment Manager collaborates with shared services and strategy on the operational procedures, systems, and principles in information flow and management, business processes, reporting, and looks for opportunities to optimize and improve.

Responsibilities


  • Work with stakeholders in other areas of the business to resolve points of failure in fulfillment processes.
  • Monitor and coach team to achieve KPI’s for order picking, quality assurance, shipping and total accuracy and throughput.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Planning Manager on labor model assumption for Fulfillment tasks/processes.
  • Schedule and direct the workflow of the department.
  • Serve as liaison with stakeholders in other departments and in other lines of business.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on all aspects of departmental people operations including, but not limited to, hiring, training, performance management, and termination.
  • Manage a team of supervisors to uphold accountability and throughput standards.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to keep staff performance at an acceptable level.
  • Manage timecards for the department.
  • Provide consistent and regular check-ins with your direct reports.
  • Maintain process documentation through regular submission to leadership for review and approval. 
  • Implement approved policies and procedures in support of organizational goals.
  • Be a primary standard bearer for Card Kingdom’s vision and values. 
  • Participate in and lead projects as needed.
  • Fulfill daily operational functions as required.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent management/supervisory experience   
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing a team of six or more direct reports
  • 5+ years proven work experience as a people manager in a fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent environment  
  • Expertise in fulfillment management procedures and best practices  
  • Working knowledge of Magic: The Gathering and its player base
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments    
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365   
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills    
  • Ability to effectively analyze their workload, assign priorities, and maintain focus on productive endeavors
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills    
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done 
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate team activities   
  • Possess high emotional intelligence, a stand-out when working with diverse groups of people and perspectives  
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations 
  • Demonstrated bias for action, especially when dealing with ambiguity

Physical Requirements


  • Manual dexterity with constant fine finger manipulation.
  • The capacity to stand and work on hard surfaces for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
  • Frequent wrist flexion/extension in repetitive motions.
  • Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting at waist may be required.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Monroe, WA
  • PM Shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM)
  • Two consecutive non-traditional weekend days, mid-week weekend

Job Type / Salary


  • Full Time
  • Exempt/Salary: Range from $74,000 - $81,000 depending on qualifications and experience
