The Engineering team at Clari is an Agile shop that practices Scrum across all of our teams. We layer in coordination practices such as Big Room Planning to stay aligned to Clari’s KPIs quarterly across sites and teams. About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team of 2-3 engineers that will own and drive the technical direction of Clari’s VOIP Dialer, a core functionality that helps our front-line sellers engage with customers. The dialer will be used by thousands of Sales users (Clari’s customers) on a daily basis as a core part of their job - a great improvement over the legacy phone systems they are using today. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland.

Responsibilities

5+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in Ruby and Javascript
Ability to rapidly learn and gain expertise in telephony systems and APIs, with a strong interest in technologies like Twilio, Zoom, and RingCentral
Keen to develop a deep understanding of telephony concepts (SIP Trunking, VoIP, WebRTC, PSTN, IVR)
Eager to master configuring and troubleshooting telecommunication technologies
Firm grasp of distributed systems, data storage, data modeling, and the trade-offs involved
Adept at working with engineering teams to build consensus on technical architecture and design
Exceptional cross-functional communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts
Committed to creating observable systems for performance tracking and to addressing issues related to performance, scalability, and maintainability
