What to expect on this role
We are seeking an Experienced BASE24/BASE24-EPS Engineer with experience in HPE NonStop platform to join our innovative team. In this position, you will be part of the next generation of payments experts and you will play a key role in implementing, deploying and maintaining our customer’s applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Analyzes, develops, tests and deploys new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production.
Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality.
Achieves team commitments
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role
Monitors system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous operation and minimal downtime.
Implements security best practices to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
Follows IT standards within the system/application infrastructure
Stays updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to HPE NonStop platforms.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience in Payment Switches (BASE24 Classic or BASE24-EPS) parameterization and development on HPE NonStop
1+ years of experience with: Prognosis
Development experience in: TACL, C, C++, Cobol
General knowledge of EFT transaction processing and of ISO 8583/20022
Nice to have experience with: TAL, Enform, Measure, SQL/MP, SQL/MX, Golden Gate, DR Net
Nice to have experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within the team and with the customer.
Mandatory very good English communication and written skills
