About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise Applications team based in Bangalore. This is not a purely advisory role. You will be actively engaged in solution design, platform evaluation, integration architecture, and delivery alongside engineering and business systems teams. You will serve as a technical anchor across a complex, multi-entity SaaS and on-premises application landscape, driving architectural consistency while enabling the business to move fast.This role operates in close partnership with IT leadership in the United States, requiring strong async communication skills and comfort working across time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Own enterprise architecture across a diverse application portfolio including ERP, CRM, ITSM, HR systems, and SaaS platforms
- Design and govern integration patterns, data flows, and API strategies across cloud and on-premises systems
- Lead architecture reviews and produce decision-ready artifacts: solution designs, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), reference architectures, and integration blueprints
- Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders across global teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
- Evaluate, select, and onboard new SaaS platforms with a focus on total cost of ownership, integration complexity, and long-term supportability
- Drive platform rationalization and consolidation efforts, reducing technical debt and redundancy across the application landscape
- Establish and maintain architecture standards, governance frameworks, and reusable patterns for the broader IT organization
- Support vendor management and SOW evaluation from a technical perspective, including third-party development governance
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Operations on cloud strategy, identity management (SSO/Okta), and hybrid connectivity
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads; act as a go-to escalation point for complex technical decisions
What You Bring
Required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or solutions architecture roles
- Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations across multi-platform enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of SaaS application ecosystems and cloud-first architecture principles
- Experience with middleware, iPaaS, and API gateway technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar)
- Strong grasp of identity and access management patterns (SAML, OAuth, Okta)
- Ability to produce clear, audience-appropriate architecture documentation and present confidently to both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with competing priorities
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) including module integrations, customizations, and migration/consolidation planning
- Salesforce platform experience: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or CPQ; familiarity with multi-org strategy and third-party development governance
- ITSM platform experience including process design and integration architecture; familiarity with one or more of ServiceNow, Jira Service Management (JSM), or Flexera (SAM/ITAM) is a plus
- Exposure to ERP consolidation, TSA exit programs, or M&A integration efforts
- Familiarity with software asset management (SAM) and license optimization frameworks
- Aviation, aerospace, or SaaS product company background a plus
