This position will work with COMSO’s Managed Security Service Provider.
This is a full time on-site position based out of Columbia, MD.
Must Have:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure services
- Manage and support on-premises servers, virtualization, and storage systems
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing)
- Lead complex infrastructure projects and migrations
- Support and optimize client environments using Kaseya RMM / PSA tools
- Implement security best practices across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
Strong understanding of:
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DNS/DHCP
- File and print services
- Remote Desktop Services
- Backup and disaster recovery
Networking:
- TCP/IP
- VLANs
- VPN configuration
- DNS
- DHCP
- Wireless networking
- Firewall troubleshooting (preferred experience with Fortinet)
Strong security awareness and operational experience with:
- Endpoint protection
- EDR/MDR platforms
- Email security
- Phishing remediation
- Security best practices
- User access controls
- Vulnerability remediation
Preferred experience with (Kaseya Tool Stack):
- Datto RMM
- Datto EDR
- Autotask
- ThreatLocker
- DNSFilter/Zorus
- RocketCyber
- SaaS Alerts
- Graphus/INK
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
