This role can be located in one of our various service locations.

Core Responsibilities


The Staff Accountant is responsible for the full-cycle AP process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, and supporting accounting operations. This includes, but isn’t limited to: 

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuringaccuratecoding to GL accounts, departments, and projects

  • Manage invoice approval workflows in AP automation tools (e.g.,Stampli, Bill.com)

  • Route invoices through workflows and proactively follow up on delayed or stuck approvals 

  • Maintain organized andaccuraterecords of invoices and supporting documentation

  • Assist with the Month and Annual End Close process, ensuring proper cutoff of expenses

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including AP subledger to GL tie-out

  • Maintain vendor data, including W-9s, payment terms, and 1099 tracking 

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies ina timely, professional manner 

  • Reconcile vendor statements and address outstanding issues 

  • Build andmaintainvendor relationships to support smooth operations 

  • Compile andsubmitpayment batches for review and approval

  • Prepare and execute weekly checksand ACH payment runs 

  • Monitor accounts payable aging andidentifyissuesimpactingcash flow 

Preferred Skills & Experience


  • 2-4 years of work experience in accounting orbachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals,prepaids,expense recognition)

  • Experience working within an ERP system (Business Central, NetSuite, Intacct, etc.)

  • Experience with AP automation tools (Stamplior similar preferred)

  • Experience withFloQastClose Management tool is preferred

  • Knowledge of 1099 reporting and basic accounting principles

  • Experience working in Microsoft 365-Proficiencyin Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data organization)

  • Strong communicationskills, both verbal and written

  • Organizational skills; both analytical and problem solving

  • Attention to details and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements


Work is primarily knowledge-worker oriented using computer systems.  Occasional exertion and lifting of up to 20 pounds to move office or computer equipment.  Occasional crawling, kneeling, and squatting.  Constant use of computer (keyboard/mouse), and phone.  Visually inspects, prepares, and analyzes data & figures; views computer constantly.  Occasional travel (car).  Occasional exposure to outdoor environmental conditions as a result of travel.  We are proud to be recognized as one of the top workplaces in our various locations (including Denver, CO and Orange County, CA).
