Job Summary


We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Receptionist to manage the front desk operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring smooth communication between guests, housekeeping, and the Head of Operations. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities


  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and resolve any room-related issues
  • Communicate effectively with the Head of Operations regarding any operational concerns
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and manage front desk communications
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest information
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions

Requirements


  • Nationality: Nepali or Filipino
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 2 years in a similar role (hotel or hospitality preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Presentable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, booking systems, or PMS is an advantage)
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Skills


  • Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS)
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Reporting Line


  • Reports directly to: Head of Operations
