The Role
As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of projects to include but not limited to, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing progress of the project and preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project. Additionally, you will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. To experience success in this role, you will need to be a team player, demonstrate strong customer centric ethos, work well independently and as part of a team, and above all be an ambassador for the business
Duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Delegate project tasks based on staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with management as well as other staff members
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
- Monitor project variables (Time, Cost, Scope, Risk) and communicate the status of these to the Team Manager (as appropriate)
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, delivering on time, within scope, and within budget
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including resource allocation, scheduling, and documentation
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders and leadership
- Skilled in risk management, performance tracking, and adapting to changes in scope, cost, and timelines
- Team-oriented, customer-focused professional with the ability to work independently and represent the organization effectively
