Job Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution by analyzing processes, identifying development opportunities, and designing efficient IT solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and developers to document requirements and ensure high-quality delivery through rigorous testing and documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyzes and documents the structure of business processes: how to use IT technologies and what is the purpose
- Determines development points in the field of business operations and processes in close cooperation with the business and IT organizations
- Identifies problems inherent in business processes, needs and suggests solutions based on knowledge of the existing system
- Participates in collecting and developing business needs
- Analyzes demands from the business in terms of their efficiency, ROI, basic conditions, infrastructure or further investments, and then documents the results
- Understands business problems and designs technical solutions as needed
- Documents the functional and technical design of the system (specifications)
- Cooperates closely with developers and architects when completing developments
- Participates in the preparation of system documentation and user manuals, performs quality assurance tests (UAT)
- Participates in organizing and holding workshops and further training
- Participates in negotiated communications with colleagues and business partners
- Oversees the implementation of new technologies and systems
- Actively participates in appropriate discussions and planning with the IT team
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or software development environment
- Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English (written and spoken), with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail
- Solid SDLC knowledge
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Ability to be present onsite for meetings and workshops
