As the firm continues to grow and expand its service offerings, Alexander Group is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and scale a high-impact marketing function that strengthens brand presence, accelerates go-to-market execution, and drives measurable business results.

Position Overview:


The Director of Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the firm’s marketing strategy across brand, thought leadership, demand generation, and sales enablement. This role partners closely with senior partners, sales leadership, and service-line leaders to translate intellectual capital into market visibility and revenue growth.The ideal candidate brings deep experience in B2B or professional services marketing, a strong strategic mindset, and a proven ability to build and lead teams.

Responsibilities:


Strategy Development


  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase market share and support firm growth objectives
  • Define and lead go-to-market strategies for new services, offerings, and priority verticals
  • Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and overall business strategy

Thought Leadership & Brand Strategy


  • Elevate Alexander Group’s reputation as an industry authority through a structured thought leadership and content strategy
  • Oversee the creation and promotion of white papers, research insights, webinars, seminars, and executive-level educational programs
  • Drive public relations efforts to expand visibility across industry publications, events, and executive forums

Lead Generation & Sales Enablement


  • Partner with senior advisors and sales teams to support the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Design and execute campaigns, messaging, and collateral that drive qualified lead generation and client acquisition
  • Develop sales enablement tools, presentations, and case studies that improve conversion and deal velocity

Team Leadership


  • Build, hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing organization, including internal team members and external agencies
  • Establish scalable processes, performance expectations, and professional development plans

Budget & Metrics Management


  • Own and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring disciplined investment and measurable ROI
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and return on investment
  • Use analytics and insights to continuously optimize marketing performance

Digital & Event Management


  • Oversee the firm’s digital ecosystem, including the website, social media presence, and marketing automation platforms
  • Lead planning and execution for professional conferences, industry events, and sponsored engagements
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality brand experience across all digital and in-person touchpoints

Within the first 12–24 months, the Director of Marketing will have achieved the following:

  • Recognized Thought Leadership: The firm is widely recognized for high-quality intellectual capital, with flagship content driving engagement among senior executives and contributing to industry visibility
  • Measurable Revenue Impact: Marketing initiatives directly support pipeline growth, with clear attribution to lead generation, opportunity influence, and client acquisition
  • Sales Partnership Excellence: Partners and sales teams view marketing as a strategic growth partner, enabled by strong tools, insights, and campaign support throughout the sales cycle
  • Scalable Marketing Organization: A high-performing marketing team is in place with defined roles, repeatable processes, and the ability to support continued firm expansion
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Marketing performance is actively measured and optimized using KPIs, dashboards, and ROI analysis tied to business outcomes

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within B2B, consulting, or professional services environments
  • Proven success leading brand strategy, demand generation, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Experience building and managing high-performing marketing teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect marketing performance to business outcomes
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Salary Range: $160,000 – $200,000. Bonus eligible
