Job Description:The Marketing Manager, Lifecycle & Community is responsible for building and sustaining a vibrant, professional community for Tulsa Welding School. This role manages the end-to-end stakeholder experience once the enrollment process is complete, fostering lifelong relationships between the institution and its students, alumni, and employer partners. By driving engagement and advocacy, this role turns graduates into lifelong brand ambassadors, referral sources, and future industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Advocacy & Engagement: Develop and execute high-impact strategies to engage students and alumni through digital platforms, professional networking, and events.
- Lifecycle Stewardship: Act as the primary advocate for the post-enrollment experience, ensuring a seamless transition from "student" to "successful graduate".
- Strategic Communication: Partner with functional marketing teams (Social, PR, Brand) to deliver targeted, high-value content that supports professional development and brand loyalty.
- Technology Business Ownership: Serve as the business lead for the alumni and community engagement platform, ensuring data integrity and a premium user experience.
- Career & B2B Liaison: Collaborate with Career Services and B2B partners to bridge the gap between skilled graduates and the employer organizations that hire them.
- Brand Advocacy Programs: Establish and manage mentorship initiatives and recognition programs that empower alumni to serve as advocates for current students.
- Lifecycle Growth: Identify opportunities for "lifetime learning," continuing education, and certification programs to support graduates throughout their entire careers.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; OR equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years in community management, lifecycle marketing, or alumni relations, with a proven track record of managing complex stakeholder groups.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience as a business owner for CRM or community engagement platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Strategic Ability: Demonstrated experience in project management and the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable community engagement plans.
