Position Summary
Greyson Clothiers is seeking motivated, curious, and driven individuals to join our 12-week Summer Internship Program. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience across key areas of our business, offering interns the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while gaining exposure to a fast-growing, founder-led omnichannel apparel brand.Interns will be embedded within a specific department and will also participate in a cross-functional group project, collaborating with peers across the organization to solve real business challenges.
This program is built for individuals who are eager to learn, take ownership, and make an impact.
Internship Areas Available
Interns will be placed within one of the following focus areas based on interest and business need:
- Finance
- Marketing
- Human Resources
- Wholesale Events
- Greengrass Sales
- Corporate & Licensing
- Wholesale Sales
- eCommerce
- Design
Program Structure
- 12-week structured internship program
- Week 1: Company orientation, brand immersion, and cross-functional exposure
- Weeks 2–11: Departmental work and project execution with weekly check-ins
- Cross-functional group project focused on solving a real Greyson business challenge
- Final Week: Presentation of project outcomes and recommendations to the Leadership Team
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations within assigned department
- Contribute to team projects and initiatives with a focus on execution and problem-solving
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration and group project work
- Conduct research, develop insights, and present recommendations
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables
- Engage in team meetings, learning sessions, and company-wide initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong interest in retail, apparel, or consumer brands
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship, work, or relevant academic/project experience
- Interest in entrepreneurship or working in a founder-led environment
- Exposure to tools such as Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, or similar (role dependent)
- Interest in innovation, technology, or AI-driven solutions
Program Details & Requirements
- Program Dates: June 2, 2026 – August 20, 2026 (final presentations)
- Candidates must have availability for the full duration of the program
- Internship commitment averages approximately 20 hours per week; exact schedules will vary based on department needs and manager expectations
- Candidates based in the Detroit Metro area are preferred to support an on-site experience; however, remote candidates will also be considered
- All applicants are required to submit a resume and a cover letter outlining their interest in the program and what they are currently pursuing (academic focus, career interests, etc.)
