QA Tester
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a QA Tester
.
This is a full-time and hybrid role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and quality assurance testing on software applications
- Develop and provide comprehensive test plans with existing requirements and document results
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as test coverage, defects, test results and test status
- Perform all phases of testing including functional, performance, regression, and integration
- Provide resolution for all defects identified during testing phase.
- Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills.
- Support the development and validation of security and vulnerability tests against applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other applicable disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with Automated QA testing and Agile methodologies, process and deliverables
- Demonstrated understanding of Section 508, and writing test scripts
- Experience with Performance testing (JMeter) experience
- Experience with coordinating test environments and test data for analysis
- Experience executing automated test cases and test plans
- Possess successful history of tracking and reporting testing progress across multiple releases
- Experience with test management tools like Jira or ALM
- Experience testing low code and BPM platforms (specifically Appian)
- Experience with Automation testing (Selenium/ FitNesse)
