What You'll Do
- Set up CNC Swiss machines (tools, collets, guide bushings, offsets, etc.)
- Drive first article approval and establish stable production processes
- Preset tooling to reduce downtime and improve consistency
- Upload/download programs and adjust offsets to meet specs
- Set up bar feeders and automation
- Perform in-process checks to maintain a centered, capable process
- Change tooling and manage tool life
- Read blueprints and GD&T
- Communicate with programmers to meet cycle time and throughput goals
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
What We're Looking For
Strongly Preferred
- Experience machining medical device components
- Experience with spinal implants or similar tight-tolerance parts
- Confident CNC Swiss setup experience (independent setup capability)
- Ability to stabilize a process from setup through first distribution
Technical Skills
- CNC Swiss setup expertise (Star, Citizen, Tsugami, etc.)
- Understanding of G/M code
- GD&T and blueprint reading
- Precision measurement tools & inspection methods
- Tooling setup and offset adjustments
- Strong troubleshooting ability
Pay Range
$22 – $35 per hour

- Ability to run multiple machines
