Receiving Inspector at AMOT

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND DUTIES:

Place incoming material into Arrived Status in MRP system.
Confirm part quantity matches PO quantity.
Inspect parts to Engineering documents standards and specifications.
Receive purchase orders into the MRP system once parts are verified as acceptable.
Will learn to complete First Article Inspections as required.
Will learn to complete NCR’s for non-conforming material.
Work priorities when notified to support customer and/or production needs.
Work with Quality Manager and Quality Analyst as needed.
Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Quality Manager.

Education and Experience:

2 years experience in Receiving and Inspection of manufactured and purchased parts with the ability to learn receiving inspection.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years experience in the use of general metrology equipment found in a light engineering environment (includes height gauges, verniers, calipers etc.).
MS Office experience required and working knowledge of MRP system, IFS is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills; written, oral, and inter-personal.
Knowledge of the valve, casting, machining, and PCB industry is a plus.
Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks and pass certification.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
