Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.
Growing as fast as we do in Veo means that every day is different, exciting, and challenging, both on the front line and in the back office. But that’s not the most remarkable thing about us.The coolest thing is our people. We’ve attracted some of the brightest minds in the industry. They are the reason we can create a great product and do it while enjoying ourselvesThe roleWe're looking for someone to lead our North American partner team and personally own a portfolio of national soccer partnerships.
It's a player-manager position - you'll manage three partnership managers across the US while staying hands-on with Veo's most important nationwide soccer relationships. There's real strategic work here: you'll help shape how we grow across North America and you'll have direct input into how we build the partner channel. But don't expect a role where most of your week is spent on big-picture thinking. A lot of the job is staying close to your partners - regular calls, renewals, solving problems before they become problems. The best person for this role will find that energizing, not frustrating.A big part of how we win in North America is through what we do with our partners, not just who they are. You'll be expected to drive joint activations - events, seminars, workshops, campaigns - that actually move the needle for Veo in the market. We're not interested in logo placements. We want partnerships that create real visibility, adoption and impact. We're also a team that uses AI seriously - not as a gimmick, but as a way to move faster and think sharper.
You'll be expected to bring that same mindset.
What you'll do
- Manage and develop a team of three partnership managers across US regions, segments, and sports. Soccer is the core of the business and your personal focus, but two of your team are dedicated to emerging sports like lacrosse, volleyball, and field hockey. Guide and support them, help them navigate their markets, and set them up to succeed.
- Own Veo's relationships with key nationwide soccer partners - leagues, federations, governing bodies. Renewals, day-to-day contact, and finding ways to deepen partnerships over time.
- Drive market activations with partners - co-branded events, seminars, workshops, grassroots programs, league-wide campaigns - that build Veo's presence on the ground and convert partner reach into real growth.
- Build new partnerships at the national level, leading from the first conversation through to a signed contract and long-term execution.
- Stay sharp on the market. Who's growing, how decisions get made, where Veo fits - deep market knowledge is what separates good partnership work from great in this role.
- Travel to events, partner sites, and conferences across the US. Face-time matters.
- Feed market intelligence back to HQ. What your team hears on the ground shapes how our product and leadership teams in Copenhagen make decisions.
- Use AI to move faster and work smarter - better prep, sharper outreach, cleaner reporting. We expect you to find where it saves you time and actually use it.
- Report clearly on pipeline, performance, and team health.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in partnerships or business development, with 2-3 years managing a team. Sports, sports-tech, or SaaS background preferred.
- Real relationships in US soccer. You understand how national governing bodies and federations make decisions, and you know people inside them.
- A track record of both closing deals and managing long-term partner relationships - not just one or the other.
- Experience activating partnerships in the field - you know how to turn a signed contract into something that actually builds a brand and drives adoption at the grassroots level.
- Someone who uses AI as a genuine work tool. Not a buzzword - we mean it. You prep better, write faster, and find insights quicker because of it.
- Comfortable running a distributed team with a fair degree of autonomy. You won't need constant direction, and you'll know when to escalate.
- At ease working with a European HQ. You'll clearly advocate for your market, communicate across time zones, and stay aligned without it being a burden.
What we offer
- A leadership role with real scope - your own team, your own book, and a direct line to the Global Director of Partnerships.
- A product people in sport actually want, which makes the partnerships work a lot easier.
- Competitive base + performance bonus (OTE $130,000-$170,000)
- A company that moves fast, takes sport seriously, and doesn't waste your time with unnecessary processes.
$130 - $170 a yearCompetitive base + performance bonus (OTE $130,000-$170,000)Though most of us are interested in sports, you need not be a sports fanatic to fit in.
