Developer - Quality Engineering who is passionate about quality and automation to help shape the future of digital journalism and media delivery. In this role, you’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to evaluate and enhance QA strategies, ensuring our platforms deliver fast, reliable, and trustworthy content to millions of users. You’ll be a key player in building scalable test automation frameworks and driving quality initiatives across our content publishing, personalization, and media delivery systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product, editorial, and engineering teams to assess QA strategies and embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.Ensure test coverage for critical workflows, including content ingestion, publishing, personalization, and user engagement features.Propose, Build, and Maintain QE tools that are modular and can be used across all projects.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment cycles and minimize production defects.Champion testability and observability, especially in high-traffic, high-availability environments.Mentor teams on automation best practices, helping shift testing left and improve developer ownership of quality.Analyze test results and production metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of development experience. Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Golang, Ruby).Experience with automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit). Knowledge of XCUITest, Espresso, Appium is a plus.Experience working with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Platform.
