Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a strategic, hands-on FP&A Director to support our Sales & Marketing functions. This role will be responsible for partnering with our Chief Revenue Officer and his team to plan and manage operating budgets, support financial analysis of strategic programs, and lead the calculation and preparation of commission payments. This position will play a critical role within the broader FP&A team to accurately forecast the business and provide insight into key trends and drivers of performance. This position is a hybrid office / remote role with at least 3 days per week in office.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the budget development, management and monthly reforecastingcadence in partnership with GTM leaders and other FP&A teams for the Sales & Marketing functions
- Analyze drivers behind headcount costs, commissions, T&E, and otherexpenses, providing monthly variance analyses and forecasts
- Provide financial support for key Sales & Marketing initiatives and long-term planning
- Support financial analysis and approvals for deal pricing
- Prepare monthly commission payment calculations and accruals
- Partner with the Accounting Team to support the month-end close process
Basic Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience with FP&A and/or corporate finance
- Experience planning / managing sales commissions and supporting GTMactivities
- Experience in financial modelling and budgeting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Software industry experience
- Located in Austin or Denver
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Prior experience with Anaplan
- Pilot or aviation enthusiast
