AI Program Manager | About You
As an AI Program Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and driving execution across AI‑focused software delivery teams. You bring strong experience supporting programs that involve machine learning workflows, data governance, model development, and cloud‑based AI product delivery. You thrive in Agile environments and excel at bringing structure, alignment, and predictability to complex cross‑team initiatives. You communicate clearly with engineering, product, and data science partners, ensuring dependencies, risks, and priorities are well understood.
You are detail‑oriented, highly organized, and skilled at maintaining governance standards while enabling teams to deliver AI capabilities efficiently and consistently.
AI Program Manager | Day-to-Day
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies for AI and ML engineering PODs, ensuring all teams follow established AI delivery frameworks and governance processes.
- Coordinate planning activities with Product, ML Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Architecture by documenting requirements, dependencies, milestones, and risks.
- Maintain governance artifacts including schedules, RAID logs, decision records, and AI‑specific delivery documentation.
- Track progress across AI workstreams, capturing updates from sprint reviews, model checkpoints, training cycles, and evaluation sessions.
- Support cross‑functional alignment by coordinating client engagement logistics, AI use‑case prioritization, and model delivery readiness.
- Prepare bi‑weekly delivery reports summarizing progress, risks, blockers, and upcoming AI release milestones using Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
AI Program Manager | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting software, SaaS, or AI/ML delivery programs in an Agile environment.
- Proven experience coordinating AI‑enabled product development, including data pipelines, model training workflows, feature engineering, or ML deployment cycles.
- Strong ability to manage inter‑team dependencies and align work across Product, ML Engineering, Data Science, and Cloud Engineering teams.
- Experience maintaining program schedules, RAID logs, delivery documentation, and governance artifacts across multiple PODs or workstreams.
- Proficiency with tools such as Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, and Confluence, including structured reporting and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with AI delivery concepts including data governance, model lifecycle stages, technical risks, and responsible AI considerations.
