Essential Functions
- Perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concept of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development.
- Perform high-level system design.
- Specifying system/component performance and interface requirements.
- Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans.
- Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts.
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements.
- Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.
Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (computer science, mathematics, or physics)and 7years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Doctoral degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information with Polygraph clearance is required.
Desired Knowledge/Skills
- Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning).
- Hands-on experience with requirements analysis, design, testing, and validation.
- Strong background in OS (Windows/Linux), networking protocols, and database management.
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization tools.
- Ability to automate tasks using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
