Mukuru is expanding, and we are looking for a driven and hands-on Regional Sales Supervisor to lead our Central Region in Malawi.This role is for someone who thrives in the field — a natural leader who can motivate teams, build strong agent networks, identify growth opportunities, and ensure operational excellence across the region.You will be the driving force behind regional performance, brand presence, and customer growth.

The Role


The Regional Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Sales Agents and Information Officers within the region. You will ensure that teams are equipped, activated, motivated and aligned to achieve sales targets while upholding Mukuru’s brand and compliance standards.You are Mukuru’s eyes and ears on the ground — identifying opportunities, resolving challenges, and ensuring regional success.

What You Will Own


Regional Sales Performance


  • Oversee and drive regional sales targets
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure targets are met
  • Analyse sales statistics and identify areas for improvement
  • Motivate and coach Sales Agents to maximise performance

Agent Activation & Expansion


  • Activate new Agents and Information Officers
  • Scout and assess new areas for potential booth and branch setup
  • Establish viability of new locations and obtain necessary approvals
  • Coordinate logistics, signage and marketing collateral for new deployments

Brand & Customer Growth


  • Promote Mukuru services professionally and consistently
  • Conduct presentations on Mukuru products and services
  • Develop regional brand awareness
  • Identify new business leads and growth opportunities
  • Educate potential customers on transfer processes and locations

Operational & Stock Management


  • Ensure sufficient marketing materials are available for Agents
  • Monitor and manage regional expenses
  • Ensure stock and cost management is maintained
  • Submit accurate weekly reports

Compliance & People Management


  • Conduct inspections to ensure agents meet operational standards
  • Resolve HR and IR matters within the region
  • Ensure all contracts and documentation are completed
  • Ensure new staff are trained before commencing employment
  • Uphold money transfer procedures and FIA regulatory requirements

What You Bring


Qualifications & Experience


  • Sales Degree or Diploma (Essential)
  • Understanding and speaking English and Chichewa (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Mukuru products and services
  • 6+ months Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge of money transfer procedures and FIA regulations
