HCM is currently seeking an Interior Designerwho is passionate and thrives in a dynamic team environment.
The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, has strong communication skills, and is looking to grow technically. In this job, you will work with a team to address the issues of our clients (style, budget, technical coordination and schedule).You will join the team creating branded, interior, amenity spaces for top housing developers across the country.
Key R
esponsibilities:
- Collaborates with team members, engineers and other consultants for coordination of work.
- Utilizes interior architectural space planning, 3D visualization, knowledge of materials and common building practices to create a design and carry it through to completion alongside our team of experts.
- Delivers design intent, verbally, graphically and in writing to the internal design team.
- Contributes to the production of design documents and detailed development of construction documents during all project phases.
- Assists in Contract Administration including, review of shop drawings, material submittals and site visits during construction.
- Assists in assembling furniture presentations, specification packages, interior design and finish presentations.
- Assists in on-site furniture, art and accessory installations.
About You:
- Willingness to learn about the many unique technical skills required for this project type.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
- Dedicated to delivering high quality design.
- Initiative and desire to help build our Multifamily Interior Design & Branding portfolio and footprint.
- Passion for creative, high-touch Hospitality Interiors.
- Team Player with a collaborative mindset.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
- 1-3 years of interior architectural project types - multifamily & hospitality preferred.
- Possesses general knowledge of construction details, building codes and accessibility standards.
- Capability with Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam.
- Ability to Commute: Baltimore, MD 21202 (Required).
- Work Location: Hybrid, In person 3 days a week (Required).

Maryland Statement
The projected base salary for this full-time position is $65,000 - $69,600. HCM’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual’s education, experience, and skillsets. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of HCM’s total compensation package for employees.
