- Align product initiatives with company strategy across cloud, security, and cyber-resiliency services in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to the definition and development of next-generation infrastructure services leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x as the foundational platform for private cloud and software-defined data center environments.
- Influence and support the adoption of new VCF 9.x capabilities, including integrated Kubernetes and container platforms, AI/ML-optimized infrastructure (including GPU-enabled infrastructure and high-performance data pipelines), unified software-defined compute, storage and networking, automated infrastructure lifecycle management, and infrastructure automation/API-driven provisioning to support infrastructure-as-code and DevOps workflows.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure the VMware platform is scalable, secure, and operationally efficient.
- Provide input into the definition and enhancement of managed service offerings across the platform (e.g., infrastructure lifecycle management, monitoring and operational management, backup and disaster recovery, security and compliance services, capacity planning and performance optimization) to meet enterprise IT and modern application team needs in secure, cyber-resilient environments.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and partner teams to shape positioning, packaging, and pricing for platform services, and support strategic opportunities and customer engagements requiring VMware platform expertise.
- Help develop messaging that clearly communicates the value of secure, resilient managed private cloud infrastructure.
- Engage with enterprise customers and partners to gather feedback, inform product direction, and conduct market and competitive analysis across private cloud providers and managed infrastructure platforms.
- Monitor emerging trends in platform engineering, modern application platforms, and private AI infrastructure to guide ongoing strategy.
- Contribute to full product lifecycle management from concept through launch and ongoing optimization, including tracking and interpreting product performance metrics such as service adoption, revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide input into the continuous evolution of the platform to maintain competitiveness and address changing enterprise infrastructure requirements.
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies.
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, including data privacy practices, annual compliance training certification, and policy acknowledgements.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in product management within cloud, managed services, or infrastructure environments, with demonstrated responsibility for platform or service ownership.
- Deep expertise with VMware technologies, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vSAN, and NSX; experience with VCF 9.x capabilities strongly preferred.
- Experience building or managing managed infrastructure services (e.g., lifecycle management, monitoring/operations, DR, security/compliance, capacity and performance optimization) in a cloud or MSP environment.
- Familiarity with modern application platforms, Kubernetes and container ecosystems, and infrastructure-as-code / DevOps practices (e.g., API-driven provisioning, automation).
- Strong strategic, analytical, and business acumen skills, with the ability to translate market and customer insights into product strategy and roadmap.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including experience partnering with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and partners to deliver and scale services.
