General Summary and Purpose:
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including serving as a resource on the full spectrum of the employee life cycle from on-boarding to off-boarding. You will work with employees and management on general HR matters and enforcing company policies and practices.
You Will:
- Work with your HR Team to develop employee programs and policies.
- Respond to managers and employees on HR processes, procedures, and performance issues.
- Support the recruiting process as needed. support roll out and delivery of performance management system and materials.
- Support the new employee hire onboarding and orientation process.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of human resource experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office products or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Experience with UKG HRIS a plus.

Target Compensation:
