Full-timeDescriptionThe Distribution Contract Compliance II role manages contractor performance and supports delivery of distribution infrastructure projects.This position provides construction oversight for moderately complex projects and serves as a primary point of contact between contractors and the utility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage field execution of distribution construction and maintenance projects.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for contractor crews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor schedules, work sequencing, and contractor resource utilization.
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify compliance with engineering designs.
  • Resolve construction challenges, design conflicts, and material issues.
  • Track completed work and support billing validation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong knowledge of distribution construction methods and safety standards.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings and identify construction conflicts.
  • Project coordination and scheduling awareness.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to monitor contractor productivity and performance.
  • Analytical thinking to identify project risks and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree plus 5 years utility construction experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years utility construction experience 
  • High school diploma/GED plus 7 years utility construction experience. Valid driver's license.
