Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and lead the architecture of policy administration systems for U.S. personal lines home and auto insurance products. Serve as the principal engineer for multiple engineering teams and manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale software projects. Implement and maintain scalable applications using React Native or Ionic, React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and serverless frameworks.Oversee third-party integrations with policy management systems, including API development and lifecycle maintenance.
Mentor engineers, establish coding standards, and drive technical decision-making across cross-functional teams.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering. Need 5 years post-grad, progressive exp. as Software Developer, Development Manager or IT Manager. Need 5 yrs. experience building policy administration software of home and auto personal lines of insurance for U.S. insurance companies. 5 years of hands-on software development experience with: React Native or Ionic, React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS and serverless architectures. 2 years of experience managing cross-functional teams of software engineers, leading technical teams, and driving large-scale software projects from conception to completion; 2 years of experience working with third-party integrations for policy management systems, including API development and maintenanceCompensation Range: $189K
