We are looking for a San Diego–based, commission-only Field Sales Consultant to sell utility-backed energy efficiency programs in partnership with San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E).
This is a fully on-site, field sales role. You will be visiting commercial properties, walking job sites, identifying upgrade opportunities, and selling energy efficiency improvements that are subsidized by SDG&E rebates. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to sell real operational work, not just talk about it.What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform on-site visits at commercial properties across San Diego
- Identify and sell energy efficiency upgrades, including:
1. Occupancy sensors2. Smart thermostats3. 2x4 LED lighting retrofits4. Lighting controls and efficiency upgrades
- Explain SDG&E rebate programs and how they significantly reduce project costs
- Work directly with business owners, facility managers, and property managers
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure projects are executed correctly
- Close deals and earn commission on completed sales
