Job Description
The Senior Power BI Developer will work on SCOR Java applications and the associated Power BI reporting system. The role includes updates to business logic, user interfaces, and the data model, as well as supporting application enhancements, defect corrections, and maintenance activities. The candidate will participate in coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting, while ensuring compliance with testing, security, and coding standards. Occasional on-call support may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Make updates to SCOR Java applications, including changes to business logic, user interface, and data model.
- Extend reporting capabilities to Power BI and support integration with the system data model.
- Support application enhancements, defect corrections, and maintenance across multiple environments.
- Participate in coding, unit testing, peer reviews, and documentation.
- Conduct defect root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and validation as required.
- Maintain code coverage, testing standards, and security policies.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the unit operations team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- 8+ years of experience writing SQL queries for relational databases.
- 8+ years of experience with RESTful web services on the Spring platform.
- 8+ years of experience developing unit tests using JUnit.
- Experience maintaining code coverage, testing, and security compliance.
- Ability to support application enhancements and defect fixes across multiple environments.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience with Angular UI framework.
- 4+ years of experience with Crystal Reports.
- Experience supporting government or healthcare applications preferred.
Eligibility:
