Job Overview:
The Senior Manager, Client Services is an integral position on The Team's Experiential Team, responsible for the successful delivery of agency projects, from brief to execution. The Senior Manager, Client Services will ensure that all the client deliverables and project milestones are delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by The Team and its clients.
What You'll Do:
- Manage 1-2 direct reports, conducting consistent 1:1 meetings to discuss career path and areas for development (alongside senior leadership)
- Lead the development and execution of medium/large-scale projects with support from an account team and oversight from an Associate Director or above
- Balances workload of multiple projects, multi-tasking and overseeing up to three activations at once
- Strategically plans workflows based upon deliverables. Understands the nuances of how certain tasks affect others and prioritizes those items to keep projects moving along. Assigns tasks and ensures follow through.
- Able to efficiently and effectively move information around the project to keep team on track. Operates in an organized manner, ensuring all deliverables are detail oriented and thoroughly developed, even under tight deadlines.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, establish credibility and anticipate client needs
- Lead calls and always ready to speak/present, with the ability to alter communication style based on situations/people. Ability to field unexpected questions.
- Work in a collaborative manner with all relevant Wasserman department teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client’s objectives and agreed upon budget
- Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets of $500K-$1.5M, ensuring clients are updated throughout entire process
- Understand the landscape for each client’s business/sector as well as the context for their investments
- Create a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment that aligns with Wasserman company culture and values
- Troubleshoot and creative problem solve throughout projects with production and creative teams. Ability to identify when escalation is required.
- Follow all project processes and procedures to uphold quality standards, serving as resident subject-matter expert
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years relevant agency experience (preferably in the experiential, sports or entertainment field)
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and always possess a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and react gracefully to unexpected events/developments
- Capable of navigating tough issues with a solution-oriented attitude and influencing those involved toward a desired outcome
- Ability to foresee issues developing before they arise and identify a solution as needed
- Able to independently represent Wasserman among mid-senior level clients
- Must be comfortable working as an integral part of a team environment
- Focused and strong-minded with an ambition to help grow the company
- Lead and inspire other team members and generate positive morale
Base salary range: $80k - $85k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
