What You'll Do


As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in protecting product quality and supporting manufacturing excellence.Key responsibilities include:

Inspection & Quality Verification


  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined components
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and microscopes
  • Verify components meet engineering drawings, inspection instructions, and customer requirements

Documentation & Compliance


  • Document inspection results according to customer and regulatory standards
  • Maintain Device History Records (DHR) and ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Identify, document, and process non-conforming materials

Quality Systems & Collaboration


  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues
  • Support gauge kitting for manufacturing job setups
  • Maintain inspection records and quality data in company systems

Regulatory Standards


  • Perform work in accordance with FDA, QSR, and GMP regulations
  • Support compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems

Qualifications


Required


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes
  • Basic math and geometry skills
  • Experience with data entry and documentation systems

Preferred


  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • CMM experience
