What You'll Do
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in protecting product quality and supporting manufacturing excellence.Key responsibilities include:
Inspection & Quality Verification
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined components
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and microscopes
- Verify components meet engineering drawings, inspection instructions, and customer requirements
Documentation & Compliance
- Document inspection results according to customer and regulatory standards
- Maintain Device History Records (DHR) and ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Identify, document, and process non-conforming materials
Quality Systems & Collaboration
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues
- Support gauge kitting for manufacturing job setups
- Maintain inspection records and quality data in company systems
Regulatory Standards
- Perform work in accordance with FDA, QSR, and GMP regulations
- Support compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes
- Basic math and geometry skills
- Experience with data entry and documentation systems
Preferred
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- CMM experience
