Job Summary

At Prosites, our Sales and Planning Analyst is the engine behind our data-driven sales culture. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Operations, you will partner with Sales Leadership (VP of Sales, CRO, etc) to provide the reporting, analytics, and visibility needed to drive growth. We are looking for a "data storyteller" - someone who isn’t just comfortable with numbers but is curious about what they mean. You will play a crucial role in maintaining data hygiene, performing client analysis, and ensuring our leadership team has high-accuracy insights at their fingertips.

If you are a sales-rep-turned-analyst, or sales analyst with experience in PE-backed organizations, and you thoroughly enjoy solving problems in Excel - we want to talk to you.

What This Job IS and Who Fits Well:

  • The "Translator": You turn raw CRM exports and disparate spreadsheets into a coherent story for leadership.
  • The "Automator": You use Power Query and Excel to replace manual "copy-pasting" with repeatable, clean ETL processes.
  • The "Audit Guard": You are the first line of defense for data hygiene, proactively finding and fixing errors before they hit a slide deck.
  • The "Sales Strategist": You use your understanding of the sales cycle to explain why the numbers are moving, not just that they are moving.

What This Job IS NOT:

  • Salesforce Administration: You won’t be building flows, managing user permissions, or configuring page layouts. You are a consumer of SFDC data, not the architect.
  • A "Click-to-Run" Reporting Role: This position isn’t pulling standard Salesforce reports. It requires manipulating data outside the CRM to create custom, multi-source insights.
  • Data Science/Heavy Coding: You aren't building machine learning models or write extensive Python scripts. This role prioritizes "script-literacy" over "script-authoring."

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Revenue Operations leadership in preparing recurring reporting packages and data visualizations for departmental leadership. Non-exhaustive examples including metrics for executive meetings, board presentations, rep performance management, etc.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand and drive their analytical needs, including identifying critical KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders regarding improvements in business performance
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.
  • Maintain databases by acquiring and managing data from primary and secondary sources and auditing data hygiene.

Qualifications (Required):

Candidates must only meet one of the two following requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a successful sales rep with 1+ years additional experience in sales analytics, GTM analytics, or revenue analytics

OR

  • 2+ years’ experience in sales analytics, GTM analytics, or revenue analytics

Candidates must meet the remainder of these requirements as well:

  • Excel Mastery: Extremely strong Excel skills are required. You should be comfortable with advanced formulas and using Power Query to connect, transform, and merge data.
  • Salesforce Fluency: 1+ years of experience working with SFDC data, both within native reporting and exporting for external analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: 1+ years of experience collaborating with stakeholders to turn raw data into polished presentations.
  • Visual Literacy: Exposure to Power BI, specifically in building drillable, focused reports and smaller dashboards.
  • Detail Oriented: A proven track record of maintaining data quality and internal database integrity.
  • Data Hygiene: 1+ years of experience managing internal database quality through regular audit cycles, exception reporting, and the use of Excel/Power Query to standardize and transform "dirty" CRM data into reliable reporting assets.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification.
  • Familiarity with SQL or Python (specifically the ability to troubleshoot or perform minor tweaks to existing scripts).
  • Experience with ethical web-scraping.

Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:

  • Prolonged periods of seating
  • Frequent usage of electronics, including but not limited to computers and/or smart devices
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
  • Travel expectation is less than 5% of time
