This comprehensive approach delivers flexibility, transparency, and performance across multiple asset classes, supporting both clients and customers in all market and interest rate environments.Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this position will be responsible for processing payroll for multiple legal entities for The Fay Group. The role requires a high-level attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while providing exceptional support to our employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.This role partners closely with other departments, including the Accounting and Human Resources teams, along with external payroll vendors.
As a payroll point-of-contact, this position facilitates both quarterly and yearly tax matters, including filings, internal correspondence and external correspondence with third parties, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at both a federal and state level.
Qualifications include:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing for a multi-state organization
- In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, tax laws, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with payroll software systems, with experience in UKG highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation
- The hiring range for this position is up to $91,600.00 annually
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
