NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.• Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.• Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine.• Work within established productivity and quality standards.• Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.• Keep workstation neat and clean.• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
- Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
- Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
