Lonestar Integrated Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Planner to support manufacturing operations by coordinating work orders, managing production schedules, and optimizing shop capacity. This role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are planned, sequenced, and executed efficiently while maintaining quality standards and on-time delivery performance. The Production Planner works closely with engineering, purchasing, production, and operations teams to maintain workflow continuity and support overall manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements. • Release, prioritize, and sequence manufacturing work orders based on capacity, labor availability, and material readiness. • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address bottlenecks, delays, or changing priorities. • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are available to support scheduled production activities. • Analyze labor and machine capacity to maintain balanced workflow and maximize throughput.

• Track production metrics and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with engineering to align production timelines with project specifications and design changes. • Communicate schedule updates and production status to operations, sales, and leadership teams. • Maintain accurate planning data within ERP/MRP systems. • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow efficiency and cost reduction. • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:


• Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or inventory control required. • Experience working in electrical manufacturing, panel shops, or industrial production environments preferred. • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data and capacity requirements. • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:


• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. • Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. • May require occasional time on the manufacturing floor.
