Description
Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems administrator who will be assisting with daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on RKE2 and Kubernetes clusters
- Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and management tasks
- Manage Docker container deployments and orchestration
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth and efficient software releases
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production environments
- Document processes, workflows, and configurations
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of RKE2 and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and Unix/Linux operating systems
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
Desired Skills:
- Experience with additional automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins
- Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
