Contracts Manager is required to administer various complex government or commercial contracts such as CPFF,  T&M, FFP, IDIQ, GWAC, BPA from cradle to grave.  The Contract Manager shall conduct management and administration of government and commercial contracts.

Job contingent on contract award


Job Duties:

  • Performs all duties of contract administration, including correspondence, documentation, evaluation, financial reporting, and related to government contracting.
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with relevant regulations
  • Administers contract awards and modifications for compliance with FAR, DFAR and other regulations.
  • May participate in the preparation of proposals including pricing and scheduling details and coordination of requirements.
  • Prepare Consulting Agreements, Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements.
  • Ensures timely processing of technical reports and deliverables.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Interfaces with multiple levels of operations personnel and administrative staff related to contract issues and actions.
  • Tracks and monitors the execution of tasks
  • May be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Excel and Word
  • Assist with the development and training of the contracts team
  • 6While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as data rights, safety rules, federal regulations, and procedure manuals.  
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others in various roles in and outside of the company
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to change.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others.
  • Strong understanding of DFAR/FAR Data Rights is desired
  • Experience administering manufacturing/product type contracts is desired

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal, Contract Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration with 1 year of contract management or leadership experience, with significant experience in government contracting environments.
